Service Description

What To Expect Students will take a deep dive into the wizardly world of powdered pyrotechnics. Learning how to mix lycopodium with several powdered metals and salts to achieve different effects that look like fireworks at your fingertips. You’ll learn how to change the color of the fire itself and enchant your props with different sparkle effects, how to sift the powder with your open hands and throw showers of sparks and fire in the air, and also how to use them with lyco specific props. You’ll also learn how to make butane bubbles and safely play with fire on your bare skin. These effects really level you up as a performer and set you apart from the crowd! And… it’s just so much fun to be a wizard. We teach and learn in a judgment free, comfortable environment, and if a technique feels too scary, you don’t have to do it!!! My goal is to present as much information as possible in a safety conscious, comfortable environment! Before Class What to bring: 100 percent cotton fire safe clothing and a hair covering (hood/beanie/bandana) enough water to stay hydrated, notebook and pen. Any lycopodium props that you have. Recommended but not required: Take the FAI fire safety certification class online. GET A FULL NIGHTS SLEEP. We are using our big brains.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule your class, but we do not give refunds. In the event that the workshop/ show is not repeated, we will give you credit to use on any of our services - classes, shows, and workshops. Students who "no show" and cancel in the 2 hour window will have the class deducted from their package.
